Bonn, I was sure when I read this obituary in the Va Pilot that it must be your Dad. I still think of you often with gratitude for all the kids you helped pass their English 11 SOL test so they could graduate. I am sending you and your family my sincerest condolences in the loss of your father. Although death leaves a heartache that no one can heal, it also leaves memories that no one can steal (from an Irish tombstone.) I'm sending comforting wishes you way tonight.

We were blessed to have a neighbor and friend like Bonn. We had many talks about the color of my house, how many trees I need to cut down, weeds in the yard, mowing instructions and on and on. I loved that little smile he gave when he knew I disagreed with him. If we all have one friend in life, your truly blessed to have one like him. I will miss you everyday when I look across the street. Rita my heart goes to you and your family. Bonn, Rest In Peace

Bonn was my neighbor & friend. He was always there if you needed help, especially in emergencies.

We had common hobbies, woodworking and home improvements.

We would go out for breakfasts, lunches, or dinners, or just sit on his porch and have a beer and/or bratwurst, and fix all the problems of the day.

He will be missed.
