When me and my sister were babies, Lala would lay with us until we fell asleep. Then, when she thought we were asleep, she would try and sneek out. Me and my sister would wake up and she would lay back down next to our cribs on the floor and often fall asleep herself. One night, she told us, she was leaving, when all of the sudden, I woke up and threw my arms up. She was tired, but she still laid back down to help me sleep. I loved her for that and how caring she was.

Lala taught me and my sister our first cooking techniques. Now, we still cook and remember the things she taught us. She was such an inspiration to all and still will be. I love her so much and hope that she will be my gaurdian angel up in heaven and watch over me through my good and bad times.

Tommy, So saddenned by Carol's death. We had many days of laughter at work in the lab. She was a mentor to all of the women who worked at Shellfish Sanitation throughout the years, but she was more importantly a friend. She was a comfort when Russell died, though I think she was more affected by him leaving than we were. It was just her way to always be there for others. We will miss her laughter and her heart.

This week I lost a precious friend. I met you over 30 years ago and have adored our relationship since then. Raising our boys, living at the ball fields and celebrating all the birthdays are memories I will never forget!
