I am sorry for the loss of your dear Annie. During times like this our God gives each one of us a very real hope of actually enjoying life with our passed loved ones once again right here on this good earth. At John 5:28 and 29 Jesus himself tells us that those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out to a resurrection of life, similar to how he resurrected his friend Lazarus. Lazarus was resurrected back to life on earth. That is in harmony with God's original purpose for humans, to "fill the earth and subdue it". (Genesis 1:28) God's original purpose for humans has not changed. To see our passed loved ones again on a beautified earth is a hope few dare to dream about, much less firmly believe in. I used to love going to visit you with Sunshine. I always felt right at home. There was a always sweet tea and a ham sandwich! You were one of the sweetest people I ever met, and you raised an amazing Christian family. I love you, Mae Mae

I know what the term "back alley" meant for those who used it. Didn't hear the story but a few years ago. But I still knew the meaning long before. It's a family thing.... Might not be a lot posts here but it wouldn't be for lack of feeling. I'm grateful because living so far away I got to spend some time with her recently. I'm grateful my mother was able to see her. She meant so much to so many.. Mother of generations... Her life was fruitful and long. She blessed and in turn was blessed by her adoring children and grandchildren. She even extended her blessing beyond her immediate family. She was wise, caring, just and compassionate. She walked and talked in grace. She was the center of the extended family for so long.... And now she has her joyful reward. Although I'm sad I'm also so very happy. Because I know the memory of my dear aunt will always live.

I had the Blessing of meeting Ann 30 Plus Years ago before I offically became part of the family. Her beautiful smile, sassy personality, and amazing kindness made me feel welcome right at home, and like family. Her amazing traits are carried on in her beautiful children, grandchildren, and extended family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this devasting loss of a wonderful Matriarch.
