So today is voting day! I'm going to vote for our boy, I'll let you know who wins. I'm drinking an espresso on our deck, very European darling. There's so much love between our family, it makes me so happy. Uncle Ernie was just telling me last night how much I act like you. What a COMPLIMENT! Anyway, I'll write later tonight and tell you who wins. If Romney does, you'll probably find me in the mother land- POLAND! lol Love you forever and ever to the universe and back.

So today I fed the birds again and Sugar and I watched as a bunch of birds came and ate. Sugar ended up getting jealous, begged to go outside, and sat in their food. It was hysterical! It was very crispy outside but I enjoy the change of the leaves. I can't wait to see Dotti and Misha, I know mom will take great care of them. Misha sat on my lap in the day time when I visited you last. I'm uploading older pictures of us because I know you would have great memories, like this one I found. (since you had so many recent pictures of me up all around the house, I feel like I should remind you of the old days!) I always knew I was your favorite grandkid lol! I always felt your love. I always knew how much you loved me. I still know. It makes me smile when I think about how you would go on and on about how amazing I am. Even as a 25 year old woman, my mom didn't have to ask me "Hey, want to call Nana?" I just did Because I loved you. I wrote to you as often as I could because I loved you. You didn't babysit me but I would say you had a huge hand in raising me and I am so thankful for that. When I see pictures of you I see Mom, Biggie Z, and Uncle Ernie..sometimes I even see my brother. You left a piece of you in all of us. I miss your laugh, it was so contagious. You had a way of always knowing how to make someone smile. You taught every single one of us not to hate or be spiteful. I was very angry that a coworker of mine wouldn't switch days off with me so I can visit your house with mom, but mom assured me that we can not hold on to anger whether past or present. You would say the same thing, most likely even make an excuse FOR my coworker, lol. Maybe she really couldn't, maybe she has plans with her family. I try to see the best in everyone because that is what you taught me. I was reading one of your letters, it said "be optimistic, believe in yourself, and look forward to new challenges." I hope to spread your wisdom on to everyone. The Gospel according to Nana lol. I will continue to write to you here as often as I can. I know you can feel the love I have for you, that everyone has for you. Maybe God needed you to help spread love all over the world. Sprinkle it in certain areas....wink. Oh, and work on sending me a nice looking guy...I'm going to do what you said and hang out at a golf course, since Angelo works at one I'm sure he can give me VIP access. I'm so thankful for the 25 years I had with you. It's a true honor to know you and to be apart of your life and your legacy. It will be carried on through your 3 loving kids and 3 grandkids. (Including Vito--like you said he has a perfect shaped head--you helped create that head! lol) Love you to the universe and back. --LZ

White Chapel Drive will NEVER be the same again. I loved listening to her stories, and natural remedies for any ailments that I was dealing with. That laugh of hers always made me smile internally. I remember the last time I saw her. I felt awful leaving, as I had to return back to 637 due to my boys rowdy behavior. We gave each other a tight hug, and we both had tears in our eyes. She said " now go Jenny, I want you to drive safe going back to Flo-ree-dah my dear Jenny..." I said "yes Ma'am... I certainly will, I love you Ms G, and I will see you next summer!" she said, " ok dear, take care of those boys, I love you Jenny-fer" I walked away, needless did I know that was our last time together. I wanted to come home this summer, but I couldn't make it. I love and miss her....

Mom, all of your knowledge and wisdom, will be with me for the rest of my life. You , by yourself, taught me how to be a Man. I am so greatful for our long talks on the telephone, or our decision making over what to have for lunch. You were surely sent here from God, as no person on this earth could have all of the knowledge, compassion, and love for fellow man. Today was hard to get out of bed but I forced myself. I put socks on my feet and a sha-leak (can't spell it but I know you know what I mean) and I took time to appreciate the little things. The sun is shinning today and I fed the birds. I will be painting later today. Instead of my emotions being destrcutive I will be CONstructive because I know that's what you would tell me. It's hard without you. I won't get anymore cards or letters. I won't be able to call you and laugh with you. You will never get to see me get married; you always wanted me to find a nice guy. I wish you could give me advice for the heart ache I feel. How do I move on from this? How will I one day be okay with this? How do I comfort my mom? I still need you. We all still need your warmth and kindness. Maybe God needed you more. Love you Nana. I think about you all day every day.

The world is a much sadder place with the passing of Mrs. Giddens, however the Kingdom of Heaven is much richer. I did not know her very well or for a very long time, but every time we spoke she was the epitome of a classy lady, a loving mother and a friend to all. My wife and I send our deepest condolences to the Giddens' family. Remember, only the good die young, and she was much to young to go. God Bless you Mrs. Giddens, may you enjoy the eternal rest and peace in the Kingdom of Heaven that you deserve so much. And may the Good Lord look over your family in this time of dispair.

Mom LOVED a good mystery, relishing such programs such as Dateline and 48 Hours. She would discuss these real-life dramas in great detail. Mom also loved to watch the Alfred Hitchcock Presents mysteries. We watched these programs together remarking on the theme and lessons learned from each show. And oh boy! What about American Idol, Dancing With the Stars, and her favorite, Saturday Night Live?? Her love of music reflected her admiration for talent: She enjoyed a bit of Eminem, Jay Z, and Cold Play, among others. Mom also liked J-Lo and admired Angelina Jolie very much. Her fashion? Please, dear. Mom's sense of style and fashion remain unmatched by anyone I know--she is a tough act to follow! I miss her very much; my life will never be the same.

Nana’s life has provided countless memories that I will forever cherish. As far back as I can remember she was always photogenic and very comfortable in front of the camera lens. Her gorgeous smile and glamorous poses naturally made her the center of attention in every photo. Nana would also write me letters and cards throughout the year, which was one of my personal favorite memories. Her character was personified in theses letters. The sassy loops of her handwriting always conveyed a meaningful message. She liked to add tasteful little touches to these letters like the faint smell of her perfume or a perfect autumn leaf enclosed in the card. My heart might ache because of her absence, but it will always find solace in my memories of Nana. Your charming smile will always make my day, your words of wisdom will always guide me through life, and your class and dignity I will always admire. I Love You Puurryy Grriiirll

I know you woulnd't want me to feel the way I do right now, you would tell me "don't worry, be happy." That always seemed to work. The wisdom and advice you shared with me has never been wrong. The love you gave me was comepletely unconditonal. Whenever I was around you I always felt as if the world revolved around me, you just made me feel so special. Mom and I laugh whenever I check myself out in window reflections because that's what you do, and I just say "YOU NEVER KNOW!" Only you would understand that haha. I simply just adore you, Nana. Peoples dreams of the perfect Mom, Nana, Friend, Neighbor, Human is you. Peoples dreams were our reality. Thank you. Thank you for everything.
