It is my privilege to give honor to an exceptional Mama Tess. A mother who did everything in her capacity to unconditionally give her children the best love, nurturing ways, education, inspiration, a role model and capable of managing the task of being a mother and father at the same time. Evidently her profound faith was her source of strength. You are truly in deed an inspiration. It has been 9 months I am still heart broken and miss you everyday. Love, Jeanette

Grandma I know that you're in a better place now, but what makes me sad is that we never got the chance to see you before you left us. I may not be the perfect grandson but I sure did try, that is why now I try to be the best husband and father for my family. We will always remember you as a strong-willed and loving grandmother. We will miss you and our love for you is eternal. In behalf of our mom Winnie and my wife Charmie and our daughter Franchesca, we love you and we will miss you.

Maria and Family, Seems like it was just recently that I saw the two of you @ Chesapeake Regional. I KNOW that you were always there for your mom. Just in the many times I saw you with her, caring for her or just enjoying her company. That was a real blessing to me to observe. I wanted you to know that when I read the paper, saw that she had transitioned, I needed for you to know that I have been praying for you and your family. My mom is 78 years young. To The Family, I want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I also want to share the comfort of John 5:28,29 where we are promised that those who have fallen asleep in death have the hope of receiving a "resurrection" back to life. Life on an earth restored to a beautiful paradise. Psalms 37:11 says, "The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." The pain of losing a love one is a pain i have never really experienced before. I have lost touch with some friends, but I am comforted with the fact that I am able to reconnect with them. Some friends have become strangers, but theres always the opportunity to go beyond that. I will never have that option with my grandma. I wish I took advantage of the time I had left with her while she was still alive. I know she's still with us. The only difference is that she's in a better place. Grandma Teresa, I know you're watching over my family from heaven at this very moment. You and my sister are protecting us. You were a perfect mother to my dad. You raised him correctly. You may not have always approved of my parents marriage, but ultimately you wished them the best. I love you grandma, and I will always miss you. ♥

There are so many stories that can be shared to highlight the innumerable accounts of commendable feats of motherhood achieved in the lifetime of this remarkable woman. Where could I start? Widowed by a husband at a young age and left with 4 offsprings and with one on the way her life then was in any terms quite insurmountable. Driven by a loving mother's instinct to persevere and faced with so many challenges, she did. Never remarried, always motivated with her undying passion for her children, she saw it that taking care of them alone would be enough. I was once asked her," My dad has been gone for many many years, why have you not looked after your own affairs since all of us your children are grown up?" Her response to my question will forever be imprinted in my mind; "Son why will I still look for the love and care of another man, when I have 5 children that love me?" My only thought of this admirable woman, mother and best friend is I could be remotely achieve what she has accomplished. I will be always feel the emptiness of this remarkable woman's passing, but will forever be filled by all the love and understanding that only her could ever give. I love this wonderful woman, and I will miss her being gone but I will own all the precious memories that she have generously graced my fulfilled life, her loving son Edison.
