I met Mildred at Beth Shalom Rehab and we chose to hang out together and became good friends. I lost her phone number and now I'm so sad to hear of her passing. I will always remember our chats and loving friendship. Fly with the angels Mildred, you will be missed.

I took Mother to get a pair of disbetic shoes,after going through the catalog,she said all these shoes make me look like an old woman. I said "Well" she looked at me and said I'm not old enough to wear any of thoes shoes they for old women not me, She was only 80 years old then. Loved mother and her spirit.

Glenda,June,Debbie and boys, I know each of you will miss Mom, Sister, and Aunt Mo very much. I saw first hand how much you all loved her. She was quite the lady and I mean lady. She liked looking her best and gave her best. She had a zeal for life and wanted to live it to the fullest. She fought the fight to the very end and is now living her life in a new and glorious place with a health body and all the jewelry and trinkets she can get on. Aubrey and I were always butting heads; just like a brother and sister. Mom was always the peacekeeper. She would make sure Aubrey always had a Christmas present from me and vice-versa. We would politely thank each other, knowing full well Mom had bought and wrapped them- soon as she turned her head, our fabricated smiles faded and the silent mocking ensued. With eyes in the back of her head, she'd scold, "Aubrey!" (which gave me great pleasure and she knew it) Those twinkling eyes! Always full of mischief and wonderful tales! She loved to tell you a story and I loved to hear it. Such a great sense of humor and sense of family. From Easter bunnies at Naa's to Sunday southern dinners, she always had plenty for everyone. She had a big heart and a bigger hug. I'll miss ya Mum.
