Obituary for Dorothy Brigman Allen
Dorothy Brigman Allen, 95, passed away December 13, 2018. Dorothy was born in Marlboro, South Carolina to the late James and Alean McDougald Brigman. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Thurston Hatcher and Dozier Brown Allen. Dorothy was a longtime member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Jo Ann Huskey (Bill); grandchildren, Cindy Ann Thomas (James), Stephanie Marie Amunsden, and Heather AnnMarie Huskey; great-grandchildren, Wade, Tarryn, Morgan, and Wesley; and a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Beverly Hills Baptist Church, 110 Kemberly St., Rockingham, on Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 1 - 2 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will begin at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ed Pilarczyk officiating. She will be laid to rest at Richmond Memorial Park Cemetery. Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Chesapeake, VA are handling arrangements.
