Doris Ellen Tally, 76, passed away on December 8, 2018. Ellen was born in Richmond to the late Buddy and Doris Drake. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Donnie Drake and son-in-law, Larry Pilkington. Ellen retired from the Lipton Tea Company, where she worked in the Quality Control Division. She'll be remembered for her generous spirit, annually singing happy birthday to each of us, and her beautiful blue eyes.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sherrie T. Pilkington, Melissa T. Thompson (Gene), and Richard G. Tally (Kim); 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Olive Branch Cemetery, Cpl J M Williams Ave, Portsmouth.
