Condolences

Condolence From: Laurie Stankus
Condolence: Having the privilege of knowing Enid’s daughter Tauni (Allyson ) for many years, I met Enid on several occasions. I went to see her perform in a play sometime in the early 80’s in VA Beach. I was absolutely astounded and impressed with her talent! Recently , I had the privilege of visiting her a few times in rehab and at the hospital. She was such a joy to be around. Always so glad to see me and for some reason she remembered my name. We chatted about her past and she talked about her love for her children and she asked me questions about my life. I always left feeling more joy than when I walked in the building. What a sweetheart! To Tauni and all of Enid’s loved ones, I am so sorry for your loss. I pray your awareness of Gods presence, mercy and great love for you.
Comfort, Peace and Much Love,
Laurie Stankus

Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. As a volunteer at Lewis-Gale for several years, it was a pleasure knowing Enid and we have missed her dearly. She was a lovely lady and we enjoyed her being a part of our volunteer team.

Condolence: So sorry to hear the news of Emid’s passing....our thoughts and prayers are with your family. I met Enid at Chesapeake Place. She enjoyed coming each week to get her nails done where a group of ladies and I volunteered each week doing manicures. Her favorite nail color was called “The World is my Oyster”! And that described her perfectly!! She was always so warm and friendly, and shared so many great stories from her life!! We will miss her, but are so thankful God allowed our paths to cross with hers!
