John Douglas Cobb, 76, went to be with our Lord and Savior September 18, 2018. John was born in Emporia, Virginia to the late Twilley and Ellen Cobb. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Peggy, Joyce, and Jesse "Sonny" and grandson, Jacob. John was a hard-working husband and father who always provided for his family. He loved being a coach to the East End Kids back in Williamson.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 53 years, Linda Sue; 5 children; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; best friends, John Chapman and Henry Moore; and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Kingdom Life Ministries, 1280 Bells Mill Road, Chesapeake from 10 to 11 a.m. A service to celebrate his life will begin at 11 a.m. He will be laid to rest at Albert G.
