Drusilla "Jean" Mayo, 85, passed away September 6, 2018. Jean was born in Garrett, KY to the late Eddie and Thelma Blanton Bentley and was the loving wife of 52 years to the late Bobby Scott Mayo. She loved her family, gardening, her beach vacations, and the hills of KY where she was raised.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Nelene Gibbs (John), Yvette Mayo, and Vanessa Mayo; grandchildren, Aimee Ritter, Joshua Grover (Stormy), and Jacob Gibbs; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Jack W. Bentley (Vicky); and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, from 6-7:30 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk.
