Louise Smithson Hertz, 97 passed away July 17, 2018 at her home in St. Petersburg, FL. Louise was born in Norfolk to the late Ken and Pearl Forbes Smithson. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her six sisters. Louise was a member of Berea Baptist Church, Elizabeth City.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Starr Funk (Raymond) and Dawn Perry (Tom); sons, Terrence Hertz (Sharon) and Michael Hertz (Gloria); six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 20, 2018 from 7 to 8:30 at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Old Hollywood Cemetery, Elizabeth City, NC.
