James David Januska, Jr., 15, was called to Heaven on July 1, 2018. James was born in Las Vegas, NV to James D. Januska, Sr. and Theresa Januska. He is preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Vincent and Lorraine Lobascio, and Marilyn Januska. James enjoyed playing baseball and basketball for Great Bridge Christian Academy and volunteering with House of Blessing at Harvest Assembly of God, Chesapeake. He and his family are members of New Harvest Christian Co-op.
Besides his parents, those left to cherish his memory include, his sister, Rachel Januska; grandfather, George Januska; uncles, Robert Lobascio (Harriet), Paul Lobascio, and Matthew Januska; cousins, Lorraine, Katelyn, Gabby, Vincent, and Dylan; and second cousin, Caroline. James is also survived by many cousins in New Jersey and Ohio, and his church family.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 5 p.m. at Harvest Assembly of God, 525 Kempsville Rd, Chesapeake. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in James’ name to House of Blessing at www.harvestva.co.
