Dear Doris, Margaret, Dean and Family, I was saddened to hear about Mr. Payne's sudden passing. What a genuine, kind and honest Christian man he was. He was a great role model for us all. I was honored to live in the Payne home as a "temporary son" during my term of service in BVS in the early 70's. He was a great mentor and taught me Basic Auto Mechanics 101 to keep my car running. Many more great memories! He will be missed by all who knew him. May God wrap his arms around you all and bring you peace and comfort throughout the coming days. Lovingly, Harold
