Rudolph "Rudy" Valentino Owens , 89, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 15, 2017. Rudy was born in Henderson, North Carolina to the late Chester and Jennie Lamb Owens. He attended Fellowship Baptist Church for 7 faithful years.

Left to cherish his memory is his Life Partner of 32 years, Barbara Nelms Stevenson; sister, Nell White; children, Bill, Gail, Scott and Dena; grandchildren, Blake, Jenny, David, Nicole and Heather; great-grandchildren, Michael and Evan; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services,1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, VA on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 2 pm at Beaver Hill Cemetery, 476 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave, Edenton, NC.
