Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robert Walker can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Daris (D.J.) and Jacquie Goodhue
Condolence: Today is the 23rd and only just learned of Bob's promotion to duty at the top. Jacquie and I talk often about what good friends you were to us during our time of service. We had such good times with the Mellings and you Fran, and Bob. I pray the family carries on in Bob's normal positive tradition. They should aways be proud of such a stalwart upright husband, father, Navy man and leader. Happy memories.
D.J. and Jaccquie Goodhue. OSC USN RET.

Condolence From: OSCM(SW) Emory "WInk" Campbell, USN, (Ret)
Condolence: As CMC of FCTCLANT Dam Neck in the late 80's, I had the honor of getting OS"A" School named for MCPON 3. MCPON Duane Bushey was very helpful in getting this done. No one was more deserving of this honor than Bob Walker. His brand of leadership had a great impact on the enlisted community and especially on the OS community. I regret not being available to attend any of this weeks honorariums, but please know, that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
RIP Bob Walker.

Condolence: To the entire Walker Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. MCPON Walker was a great American whose spirit will live on in the Sailors he led and trained, who have in turn led and trained the Sailors of today. I was privileged to have met him and pleased to have met many of you when he was added to the Surface Navy Association Hall of Fame. My prayers are with you all.
Very respectfully,
Karen O'Connor
