Obituary for Joseph Arthur Kelly

Joseph Arthur  Kelly
Joseph A. Kelly, 82 passed away March 16, 2012 in Chesapeake. A native of Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late James and Anna Josephine Phillips Kelly and was also predeceased by his first wife, Marianne Keck Kelly, second wife, Marilyn Polhamus Kelly and sister, Patricia Bencivengo. He served his country in the United States Airforce, is a member of the VFW, Norview Masonic Lodge #113 AF & AM, Khedive Shrine Temple AAONMS, Khedive Drum and Bugle Corps, Elder of Laurel Avenue Church of Christ, and founder of Jo-Kell Inc.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Lang Kelly; daughters, Joanne and her husband, John Baines; Karen Smith; Julie and her husband, Tommy Hart; sons, Marty Kelly and his wife, Suzy; and Michael Kelly; a brother, James Kelly and his wife, Nada; step-daughter, Pam Gammon and her husband, Danny; step-granddaughter, Amber McMullen and her husband, Joe; and a host of step-children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake with Minister Henry “Butch” Ringwald officiating. Burial will follow in Colonial Grove Memorial Park.
