Obituary for Mildred "Aunt Mo" Bray Holt

Mildred "Aunt Mo" Bray Holt
Norfolk - Mildred M. Bray Holt, 84, affectionately known as “Aunt Mo”, went to be with the Lord March 2, 2012. She was born in Berkley to the late Thomas and Minnie Norvelle Bray. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband Pleas W. Holt, Jr.; and her son, Aubrey Pleas Holt. She was a life-long Hampton Roads resident, educated within the Norfolk public school system, and attended Maury High School. She was employed by S.S. Kresge, Sears & Roebuck, and retired from Naas Bakery in 1993. She was a member of Tidewater Central Church of the Nazarene for 74 years.
She was greatly loved and will be missed dearly. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Glenda Paolone; a sister, June B. Jenson; a very special niece, Deborah J. House; and great nephews, Daniel and David House. Mildred was kind and generous with her love to those who knew her.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Tidewater Central Church of the Nazarene in Virginia Beach. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at church, and at Graham Funeral Home on Monday, from 6:00 – 7:30 pm. Please visit her book of memories at www.grahamfuneralhome.com to leave a note to the family.
